Snowmelt
Shot January 2022, Posted January 2022
Took a walk down to Nevada Beach to catch a sunset and test out the new 35-150mm lens. It's a local's favorite for long dog walks in the evening.

The moon rose over Castle Peak while the sun was still meandering towards the rim. I turned around in time to see the sunset kissing the peak.

Sunset was a normal amount of spectacular. Most visitors at the beach left when the sun just dips over the rim, but the skyfire doesn't start until the clouds start getting refracted light.

Also went wide. Not totally satisfied with the balance here but an interesting sky helps.
